Your files stay in your browser
YUIgif processes the files you choose on your device. It does not upload your media to a conversion server, require an account, or include analytics or advertising trackers.
The website and conversion engine must be downloaded from your host. The host may keep ordinary access logs. The engine can be cached by your browser; selected media and editor state are not saved by YUIgif between visits. Download an export if you want to keep it.
Optional support and profile links open third-party websites with their own privacy policies. YUIgif does not connect to your accounts on those sites.

Component source & build information
Source access is available alongside the engine files, with no charge or account required. The engine files are copied unmodified from the pinned npm package. The catalog records package integrity values, source references, and the upstream build recipe.
- Download upstream ffmpeg.wasm source & build scripts 1.33 MB
- Download FFmpeg 5.1.4 source

- Upstream build recipe · Build commands · Source archive checksum
The upstream npm metadata does not provide a gitHead. The source catalog identifies the associated v12.15 upstream release and preserves the dependency references from its build recipe, including references that are branches. It does not assert that these unrecorded historical branch commits were independently reconstructed.
